Krissy looked radiant in her classic wedding dress. It was accompanied by an elegant hair piece and a pearl necklace.
The ceremony was held at the Mariott Hotel in San Mateo. The officient was Kin Wong of EOne Production, who was also the DJ at the reception. He did a great job in both the ceremony and directing the entertainment at the reception.
Adam and Krissy provided a lovely brunch for their guest after the ceremony. It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax and reconnect.
After brunch, the tea ceremony was held at the hotel. It was a small intimate affair. Adam’s dad had never been a part of this type of ceremony before but he enjoyed it all the same.
Following the tea ceremony, Suzy and I rode with Adam and Krissy in the their limo along with the maid of honor and the best man. Adam’s family had flown all the way from New Your for the celebration and wanted to come along for the ride.
Adam and Krissy are very sentimental. When we did the engagement photos they chose to do it at Circa bar in San Francisco, where Adam had proposed to her. Therefore, when he asked if we can do portraits at the Cliff House, where they first met, we thought it was the perfect idea!
We were doing great on time, so I suggested we hit the city for a more urban backdrop to give them some variety. I asked the limo driver to take us to the top of Nob Hill, by Grace Cathedral, to get a shot overlooking the city. We had to get the timing just right to avoid being run over by cars! No need to worry though, because the only honks we got were from well wishers.
The reception site was artfully painted with the colors of autumn. The cake was simple yet elegant.

One of Krissy’s nephews was in a ballroom dancing competition that same afternoon. He and his dancing partner won two first place prizes! We were treated to an amazing performance by the 9 year old dancing duo!
The performances were amazing and everyone was eager to photograph them. I found myself competing with a very serious young photographer!

The entertainment continued as the DJ involved the guests in fun games such as passing a small white ball with a spoon in your mouth!

Adam said right from the start of the day that he wouldn’t be joining in with the karaoke at the reception. But sure enough, by the end of the night, he was up there just like everyone else. Suzy and I couldn’t help but join them in the last song after everyone else had left. We were singing Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. Suzy was wonderful and I was terrible, but we both had a great time time with Adam and Krissy. What a wonderful day it has been!

What a beautiful event. Thanks for sharing it it.
