I photographed another beautiful wedding this past weekend! This one was at Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon. I had photographed Nancy and Michael’s engagement session earlier this year in Los Gatos. Just as their dog Rocky came along for the session, he now also participated in the wedding as the ring bearer. I love this picture of the flower girl, Tessa, standing aside as Nancy dresses Rocky.
The morning was very busy with everyone getting ready for the big day. There was going to be two ceremonies, a traditional Vietnamese ceremony and a traditional western ceremony.

Michael showed up and it was time for the Vietnamese ceremony. The house was full of people squeezing in to get a peek.

After the ceremony the party traveled by limo to have a few portraits done close to Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon. We only had 15 minutes to spare, so I had to work quick to get some dynamic pictures out.

After the session, we quickly went over to Bridges to get ready for the western ceremony. Everyone gathered on the lawn in anticipation of the wedding party.

The reception was beautifully laid out. Michael’s sister Linda, who’s wedding I photographed in 2006, now does wedding planning. I have to say she did a magnificent job of coordinating everything! The bridesmaids and groomsmen rocked into the room followed by Nancy and Michael as they made their fun entrance.

The evening was full of wonderful memories, beautiful moments, and lots of dancing.

As the sun was about to set, I encouraged Nancy and Michael to step outside and take in the last few minutes of golden light. This is something I try to always get my wedding couples to do. The pictures always make the effort worthwhile.

For now, I’m going to end this with just a few more pictures.Be sure to check out the rest of the teasers in the gallery below. Congratulations to Michael and Nancy on the marriage!

This was just about everyone at the wedding!
