What an exciting wedding party at Crystal Springs! Max and Roxana had their wedding reception on top of a hill overlooking a river. They had the most fun group of friends for their wedding party. It was a blast to photograph.
We started the day with Max and Roxana getting ready in separate suites in a hotel. Roxana’s closest friends were helping her get ready while Max and his buddies were in the other room helping him get out of his Captain America shirt and into his tux. Kristen Calderaro and Gigi http://www.kristencalderaro.com/ did her makeup and hair.
Then it was time to get into the limo and head out to Nativity Church in Menlo Park for the ceremony. I captured this simple portrait of the beautiful bride alone on the ride to the church.
After the guest had left the church and moved onto Crystal Springs for the reception, I had a few minutes to capture some private moments between Max and Roxana.
At the reception we were greeted by a Mariachi band that was playing for the guests. Everyone was gathered in anticipation of the grand entrance.
Afterwards, toasts were made by both the best man and the Roxana’s maid of honor.
The father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, and the bride and groom first dance followed shortly afterwards.
The rest of the evening was followed by more dancing and celebration. Congratulations to Max and Roxana!
